Summary: This shredder does shred, but suffers from a design flaw. The clear viewing window is nice to see when its getting full, but its part of the top and not the can. This means when you take the top off to empty it the front is lower than the rest of the bucket and shredded paper spills out the front.
Summary: This shredder stands head and shoulders over a prior cheap one. The pricing on new quality shredders forced me into more research before buying. I generate a shred bag about every month and would like a shredder to last forever. This shredder gets the job done securely, is built solid and safe.
Summary: This is the best shredder for home that I have ever owned. I have lots of paperwork to shred every week which I used to dread doing. When my last shredder bit the dust, I was sure that I would continue dreading this job.
Summary: We have had this shredder for almost two months and so far so good. It has done the job and we have not had any problems with the machine. As consultants, we have an in-home office and shred paper daily.
Summary: Living in New York I have limited space, so I chose a shredder that was compact but still able to do a decent job. This shredder performs adequately for its small footprint; it just about meets my needs but is easily jammed up.
Summary: Clogs and you have to wait for it to cool down frequently. Terrible design-awkward to get top off. Tips over easily. Impossible to empty without getting little pieces of paper all over. Would never buy again.
Summary: Pro's: - Price - Safe guard feature - Fellows quality - See through window is a nice touch - Large waste basket - Can use plastic garbage bags for easy shred removal Con's: - Top lid needs to be lifted to empty I just bought two for my home and both work great!
