Summary: I expected to oil the blades to keep it working good, but not after every time you empty the bin, that's a bit much and shows a poor engineered product. You do not find this out until you unpack it and read the instructions. Personal I would have sent it back but the wife wanted to keep it.
Summary: I bought this shredder, rather than a cheaper one, because of the product manufacturers reputation ( i have a larger one in my office which is great) but sadly I thought the motor was far to heavy firstly for size of shredder and secondly because the flimsiness of the bucket/container. I must admit i didn't try out the shredder so my review is solely based on weight and the quality.
Summary: The product works fairly well in that it shreds paper in to small pieces, this is much more secure that the 'strip cut' shredders. This model is slow and you can't feed in more than 2 sheets of paper at a time without it slowing down to a crawl. Its fine for occasional use but not brilliant if you have lots of shredding to do.
