Summary: I had previously owned a Fellows shredder and it lasted years but rom new this one didn't reliably cross cut the paper and after a few days it wouldn't shred a single sheet of 100gsm paper. Returned and exchanged for another make.
Summary: I have had a small Fellowes cross cut shredder for a good many years and been very happy with it so I needed a new one so of course I bought another one this is not a patch on my old one after doing about 5 sheets it gets all blocked up even when you put it in reverse it does not clear it so I am not very happy with this product
Summary: Very disappointed in this - bought it because I had a pile of old bank statements to deal with and it said it could take 5 sheets at a time. Well it doesn't. If you put more than 2 normal A4 sheets in, it grinds to a halt, overheats and shuts down for ages. Poor quality motor and small capacity.
Summary: I am planning to return this item for a number of reasons: It is meant to have a 12litre bin, however it appears to be way smaller than this and needs to be emptied frequently. It is also meant to be able to shred 5 sheets at a time, however it appears to struggle with more than two sheets, so shredding takes longer, as a result.
Summary: This was bought as a replacement for my Stationery Box one, which had finally given up after many years of service, it was GREAT. I would have bought another if they were still in business ( I NEVER had to oil it). In my opinion it is rubbish because: 1. You have to OIL it everytime you empty the shredder.(DON'T BELIVE ME READ THE INSTRUCTIONS) 2. It is very noisy. (I am under instructions NOT to use it when my daughter is in the house) 3.
Summary: I was told that fellows were a good make....having set up the shredder..found it to struggle on four sheets of paper......sorry but for the money i spent on this i regret buying it...there is alot better out there and cheaper....
