This is a great shredder.

Bill Miller, Staples

 • Excerpt: I am replacing an earlier version of the same shredder that we had for a lot of years and finally wore it out. We gave it heavy use and it always performed well and cut the shreds into short pieces. The one problem we finally had was a small plastic part that held the microswitch that turned it on broke. I went online and couldn't find any parts, so I tried to glue it. That worked for a few weeks and then broke again, so I decided to get a new one.

Finally after trying 2 other shredders

SMP, Staples
20 June 2013
 • Excerpt: After trying 2 other shredders and returning them this is the one. First one had a lift off top to empty, didn't even know then made them like that, don't know where you place it when emptying and not that light at all. Second one had a slide out bin that uses a plastic clip as a safety device that felt flimsy and breakable. This one uses embedded magnets in the bin for safety and magnets don't break and the bin is metal mesh as well.
 • Pros: Durable, Easy to Install, Easy to Use, Safe, Well Designed

1st Time Customer...Extremely Happy!

Tynman, Adorama
26 March 2013
 • Excerpt: I use this shredder for normal personal use, although I am confident it would work well for small business use also.

This is the second unit I've purchased. The first one lasted about 7 years. The only reason I had to replace it is we inserted too many pages at once and the cutter jammed to the point I could not free it. It's rated to handle up to 11 pages at once, would should suffice for most applications.
 • Pros: Cutters Are Solid, Durable, Easy to Install, Easy to Use, High Quality Sturdy, Safe, Well Designed
 • Cons: Noisy

Great Shredder

Adorama
5 March 2012
 • Excerpt: I have 3 of these and the oldest is 7 years old. I like the visibility thru the basket screen to tell how full it is. The screen basket empties easily into plastic bags for recycle. This is the best shredder that I have ever had.
 • Pros: Easy To Clean, Good Capacity, Sleek Design, Sturdy

I would buy this anytime.

 • Excerpt: I have 3 of these and the oldest is 7 years old and all are still going strong. I like the tip out basket to discard junk mail that doesn't need to be shredded. The basket is screen is easy to see through to determine how full it is and it empties very easy into bags with out a mess on the floor with little caution. If any of mine breakdown I will definitely be buying another one just like these.
 • Pros: Adequate Bin Capacity, Doesn't Jam, Easy To Empty, Easy to Use, Good Power Output, Large Sheet Capacity, Shreds Quickly

 • Summary: We have a very curious child and a dog and this shredder provides more reassurance than most other home shredders. The shredder stops when hands (or paws) get too close and if the the basket is ajar, the shredder will not operate. Also an additional power button that must be in the ON position before shredder will engage.

 • Summary: I have had this shredder for over a year for home use and love it. Easy to empty design. Perhaps it would not work in a heavy duty situation, but has worked perfect for me. I thought it had quit working at one point but all that it needed was some lubrication oil. The oil is critical it appears to keep these things running -- as soon as I applied the oil as indicated it started working and has worked perfect since.

Very reliable, this is my second one of the same

sue93, Tesco

 • Summary: We burnt the last one out when we shredded so much material before we moved, if we hadn't moved it would still be going strong, it seems to tackle a lot which other shredders are unable to, it is also fast.
