Summary: I bought this a few years back and it's still performing admirably. Philips Philishave shavers (at least the ones shaped like this thing) are designed to fail after some use due to the plastic welding/moulding in the pop up trimmer assembly - an example of planned obsolescence . This thing instead has a metal assembly, and nearly 3 years down the line, only needs some cleaning every now and then.
Summary: If you are like me you mainly want two things from a shaver - shave quickly and without deafening you. This does both admirably. And bought elsewhere cheaper so true bargain. Closest shave I have ever had? No. Take anywhere battery? No. Wash under the tap? No. Why did I give it five stars then? Because I have never found a shaver that could do all of these at once and I decided to stop looking and concentrate on the most important points to me.
Summary: I bought this razor for my husband, he just needed a new razor. The delivery was quick and I was surprised that there was no case to hold it. It came in delivery box. Looking at the back of the instructions this item was/is a reconditioned razor. No where in the blurb about it did I see reconditioned. My husband it ok with that. It works, shouldn't say somewhere in the seller ad that some are reconditioned.?
Summary: I ordered the remington rotary shaver, the product arrived quickly and the packaging was well done. At once my husband tried it and it was what he had wanted. I would like to thank the person who sent it.
Summary: Great electric razor that shaves better than my previous philips, has a handy sideburn trimmer for tidying up straight edges. Could only be improved by an internal battery but for the price you can't grumble.
Summary: For the price this is a superb shaver and I have bought several over the years. To be true I don't have a heavy growth...designer stubble was never for me but then at my age that would just be ridiculous! Having said that, at my age nostril and eyebrow hair are an increasing nuisance, (who wants to look like Dennis Healey?) but this shaver just whips them off in a trice either with the flat-head or trimmer.
Summary: i found this shaver underpowered and hard going it looked the business but was disapointing th lead didn't fit very well and kept coming out it was cheap, so i should have known better, you only get what you pay for.so it's back to the wet shave for me it's quicker.
