Summary: Don't be like me and leave it in the bathroom and decide that you fancy a bit of a hair/face trim without charging... Or you like me, you ill will go to the pub with people looking at you like you have radiation poisoning... I do like it, but I'm not 100% satisfied yet... I do love the mechanical action of the guard and the speed control... But, it is very hit and miss on the cut... You seem to have to go over the same spots 5 times for even cutting...
Summary: I must add my comments to the litany of complaints by other reviewers. I had to send the first one back because the battery did not charge. Remington replaced it but with bad grace. The touch-screen controls are really bad. Mine is now stuck on the wrong length setting. A very tiresome product; my first and last from Remington.
Summary: Trims well. Does everything you need it to do. Only fairly major downside is you gotta be ridiculously careful to not slide the lock open otherwise you'll start trimming way too close. Wanted to keep a small beard on the 4.0 setting, suddenly it's shaving way way too close, check the mirror closer, oh damn! There goes my beard, it's shaving on the lowest possible setting. Other than having to be wary where you position your fingers, it's great.
Summary: This product is simply not fit for purpose. The build quality is very poor. The touch control functions very badly. It has now given up the ghost and I don't suppose I've used it more than 20 times. Avoid!
