Summary: I got these for my family on christmas. My mum said that they don't cut thick hair very well. I also noticed the size things were a little flimsy and cheap. The overall quality of the clippers were very good but if they don't cut hair well then the purpose of them is out the window.
Summary: these really struggled to cut my hair, in fairness my hair is quite thick and i was cutting it from quite long down to grade 2 due to not getting round to replacing my old clippers very quickly. on the plus side they are very quiet (mainly because they have no grunt) and if you cut your hair weekly/fortnightly not once every 6-8 weeks as i did this time they would probably be fine but they are not much more than slightly beefed up beard trimmers in my humble opinion.
Summary: i suppose you get you pay for is the best that can be said about these clippers. i bought them in the foolish belief that by cutting my own hair i would end up, like, saving tons of money, man! so in a way i do have to thank the remington company for disabusing me of that stupid notion and i will happily continue to shell out my £15 every two months and get a professional haircut that's tidy, presentable and pain-free, everything that these clippers from hell will not do...

Summary: Remington make good clippers and these certainly feel solid, they are heavier than the ones I usually use but I don't mind as they are reassuringly robust. The blades themselves are particularly strong, surprisingly so for such a budget price. This is a basic set of clippers, this ten piece set has 4 cutting guards which go from 3 to 12mm - so from very short to short. This limits the styles you can achieve but additional attachments can be purchased separately.
Summary: I used the apprentice hair clippers to clip my husbands hair and was very pleased how easy they were to use. I was a little worried that I would make a mess of his hair, but the different guards clipped in and out easily and it took about 10 minutes for me to have the job done. Reccomended.
Summary: I have been cutting my own hair at home for years and have had a few pairs of clippers in my time. These are simple to use, not too noisy and easy to clean - which is pretty much all I look for! Only possible downside is that they are corded so you do need to be near a plug, on the plus side you don't need to worry about charging them.
Summary: Everybody knows the key to a successful beard is maintenance, which is where this trimmer comes in handy for me. As well as being good for those who like to maintain a shaved head, this is perfect for trimming sideburns and making sure your moustache remains a moustache and not a soup-strainer! The main differences between this clipper to others I have used is the overall feel.
