Excerpt: Philips RQ 1095 Arcitec electric shaver is a companion to me that I cannot imagine shaving without. Before its entry into my house, I was usually never comfortable with the razor shaves and feared cuts and bruises. But with Philips RQ 1095 Arcitec electric shaver I am too comfortable …
Summary: Did a lot of research before buying this, and with excellent value from Amazon it was a no-brainer. Excellent shaver. Feels good in the hand, and looks superb. But more importantly it shaves very well - very smooth both during and the result afterwards.
Summary: I've had many shavers over the years mostly from Philips, and have always had a preference for multi-head shavers over foil shavers like Brauns. Having bought this shaver from Amazon, I have to say that this is the worst Philips shaver I have ever owned.
Summary: This is the worst shaver I have ever had, which is surprising considering it is also considerably the most expensive. First problem is that it just doesn't shave properly. You can go over and over your face for 15 minutes and still not look that much more clean shaven than when you started.
Summary: The RQ1095 is a really nice shaver. it gives a really close shave and is well designed and comfotable to use. However, it is far from perfect in my opinion, i.e. 1. The Jet Clean System is a bit of a gimmick and is not really needed when all that is wanted is a quick rinse under the tap.

Summary: I have been using Philips rotary shavers for 23 years, and this is the worst. The aesthetics and ease of cleaning seem to have been the only considerations in the design brief for this product. It would seem that the engineers have ignored the primary purpose of shaving which it fails at miserably.
Summary: I bought this product after reading reviews about how good it was and watching the Philips video. Well I think its rubbish and a waste of money.Too gimmicky and doesn't shave as well as my old Philips Shaver.
Looks good but functionally no better than older models

Summary: I have been using this shaver for almost a month now. It is aesthetic. However compared to my older philips model HQ7870 it shaves no better. In fact I could see some hairs spilling out of the space beneath the shaver blades. I agree with some reviewers that its advertisement has been hyped.
Summary: This really is an excellent razor. I have used mains powered Philishave razors for years, but probably hadn't realised just how blunt my old blades were. Changing to this rechargeable razor at Xmas was a whole new experience. A smooth quick shave and no cables to get in the way.
Summary: I found the Philips electric razor very easy to set up, after following the easy to understand manual. It's a compact unit so it does not take up a lot of room when not in use. The unit has a self clean system & i alternate between using the self clean & just using the brush to clean the heads, this...
