Summary: As the summery states it is the best electric shave I have ever had, having owned some fifteen shavers or so this is the second 3D and brilliant, worth paying the little extra, well done Philips
Summary: Moving up from my trusty HS8420 was a difficult decision, but after many years and a failed battery I needed something. A great deal from a high street retailer and I have the next generation. Been doing this for 37+ years and once again I wish I'd upgraded sooner.
Pros: best shave in 37+ years
Cons: can't buy nivea cream cheaper in normal bottle.
Summary: This was excellent when first acquired. Running the battery down then charging up gives over 70 minutes before recharging. The trimmer head's quite small but still does the job. I think the shave's almost as good despite having used the shaver for 8 months now and the blades must begetting a bit blunt. I can see a possible need to carry the charging base if away for a protracted period as the flex doesn't plug into the shaver but this hasn't been a problem for me.
Pros: close shave, easy to use, lots of battery life
Summary: I think that the shaver gives a good shave, is easy to clean under the tap and looks good, however, mine was let down by the poor quality of the electrics. It developed problems with the charging until it eventually packed in altogether after about 9 months of use.
Pros: gives a good shave, smart design, easy to clean
Cons: poor quality electrics, can only be charged through the stand, user manual is not accurate
Great product,a lthough mine has developed a fault

Summary: I've used Philishave shavers forever. This is my 3rd machine in the 25 years since starting to shave. I've always found these things excellent. All the shavers I have owned have been rechargeable and the battery life has been superb lasting as long as the shaver. Too many hygine products by other manufacturers have poor batteries which fail within a year or so, requiring the unit to be replaced. The battery is still fine in my old shaver.
Pros: shaver excellent build quality and performance
Cons: aqua system faulty after a few months, cleaning fluid **very** expensive.
Summary: As a shaver it's fantastic but I travel a lot for long periods (5 to 6 weeks) and if I'd known that it could only be charged through its 'stand' which looks fragile and can't be fitted into the travelling case with the shaver I wouldn't have bought it.
Summary: Always been a blade person and decided with my new job role and times it might be best to go electric. Spent some time trying to find the right one and well I'm glad I choose this. So easy to use and so nice on the skin too.
Summary: Simple to use. Great shave. Easy to clean. Now for the bad bits -------the charging stand has suckers on the base ,if your surface to suck to is not glossy or glazed then beware it will fall over :( Two charging units are supplied why only one charging cord? but maybe I am too fussy :) after all its the shaver we use.
