Summary: No Improvement whatsoever on previous model however significantly reduced build quality. Previous model lasted me over 5 years, this one lasted less than 18 months before the latch that keeps the trimmings door closed broke off..
Summary: Purchased some time ago to replace a Remington and on balance, I'd swap back. Positive adjustment of the head, but the replacing of one head with another to facilitate shaving the nape of your neck, and trimming etc is a nuisance.
Summary: The vacuum function stopped working after the battery got a bit of moderate use. Now when pressed the button it stops and shows 'E' for error. Was working fine for a while. Have tried cleaning as advised but made no difference.
Summary: I've always liked Philips' shaving equipment and this didn't disappoint, the different lengths are accurate enough to give me a length that is even and with no stray hairs. The vacuum works quite well, though I'd say that 60-70% of the hairs still fall into the sink if you're doing a longer trim.
Summary: This worked fine for about 4 months but has become less reliable. In the past month it's only usable for one shave before the battery goes flat. Also the motor keeps stopping and 'E' is displayed when start shaving.
Summary: The small plastic opening lid where you open to throw away the collected hair has broken. Philips will only replace with an equivalent model but not same vacuum feature. Not happy regarding the fact I thought I purchased a quality product.
Summary: While I have no complaints about the functionaility of this device - it trims my beard with minimal mess - I have found issues with its build quality. The lid of the collection area is very flimsy and what keeps happening to me is that the plastic latch to close it breaks off after 6 months or so.

Summary: Bought this on the 6th of January 2014 where it was £36.00!!!! Don't be ripped off now. How it can go up in price to £128.00 by the 9th of October is beyond me. Good novelty factor and the vacuum did indeed work causing minimal hair around the bathroom and sink.

Summary: It's ok, the vacuum doesn't remove all the hair that comes off so i still have to shave over a sink. And the thing that is supposed to make it an adjustable shave doesn't really work as it ends up cutting my hair unevenly, apart from that it works and still hasn't broken after buying it over 2 years...
