  • Summary: This is my second one, first one lasted about 5 years. It holds the cut hair in a container that you bump out in the garbage can. Why they don't make more with this feature I'll never know... Anything else leaves hair on the counter or the sink which doesn't make the wife happy. Walmart is a least 5 bucks cheaper.

This product has been a joy to use.

  • Summary: This product has a nice range of cutting lengths but, the only thing I miss is the small pop up mustash trimmer from my old beard trimmer.

  • Summary: The slight vacuum function was surprising and helpful but dont expect it to capture 100% of the hairs. Other than that its a pretty standard trimmer and it does its job perfectly fine.

  • Summary: Overall it does a good job. I only keep my beard at the stubble level and it does an fairly good job for that. Don't have to go over my face several times. The vacuum doesn't work perfectly, but I have a whole lot less mess to clean up when I'm done. I only wish that it included a smaller cutter like my old Remington used to. I used to use it to trim the hairs in my ears, but this one is too bulky for that. May have to go and buy a second smaller trimmer for that now.

  • Summary: I have been using this product for last 2 weeks and I love it. I used to have cheap trimmers which you get for $10 . It had different attachment for each size and after each trim, I had to clean my sink and floor. Now I do not have to do any of those as vacuum system captures all cut hair.My sink is now clean and I do not have to hear any complains from my wife.

  • Summary: It does pretty much as promised, but the price differential is based mostly on the vacuum. The vacuum does work, but won't catch all of the hair so don't expect perfection in that regard, but to me this was not a big deal. The other feature that is not as great as it sounds is the contour following comb.

Does the job, good quality feel

Rhuey46, Amazon

  • Summary: I've been using this beard trimmer for over 2 years now, it's great - keeps it's charge and does a good job of sucking hair in. The only issue is that if you tip it upside down the hair will fall out of the opening (this has happened accidentally). Otherwise it has a cover to open the area where the hair is collected and you can brush it out.

good value purchase

  • Excerpt: I have owned this beard trimmer for a few months now. I am generally pleased with this purchase. The only major gripe that I have is the compartment that retains the hair does not stay closed anymore because the small plastic clip has broken so whenever I shave I have to hold down the cover. The trimmer has many trim levels but I tend to stick to number 4 and just leave it there. I am quite impressed with the hair collection.

For the first time I grew a beard

James Minter, Amazon

  • Summary: Beards were new to me and the maintenance they require an eye opener. The Philips QT4050 does a good job but I've decided beards and me don't go together.
