Summary: Pros Holds charge for a long time Can use it while its plugged in Decent vacuum but doesn't get everything Easy adjustment of trim length Cons Doesn't work well for hair that lays flat on the face, like the hairs on cheeks and neck Can't trim the moustache well with the guard on Can't rinse the head...
Summary: Works for me - nice trim - nice length settings. It's a good shaver. However - if you are buying it for the clippings collection feature I would not bother if that is your only reason to buy it - whether my beard is too thick - it just doesnt work and most goes in the sink.. Want a good shaver?
Summary: It shaves ok and that's the main purpose but I noticed that it heats a lot and if you touch your skin without the plastic attachment it won't be fun. After 3 months it didn't go as fast as before.
Annoying flexing guide spoils an otherwise good shaver

Summary: I bought this after trying my sons shaver which was a different type to this & without the vacuum, I found the flexing guide comb totally pointless, it requires undue pressure on your face as the springs are far too strong and I found myself holding it down with my thumb whilst shaving.
Summary: Bought this beard trimmer as it had a good write up. After about a couple of months use the adjuster broke through no fault of my own. I used a piece of blue tack to stop it moving which has done the trick. Other than that, I have no problems with the unit.
Summary: This product is adequate but due to design does not trim moustache very well. Whilst most cut bristles fall into the container some miss and go into sink. Although not critical there is no power lead connection to a shaver plug, just one to the mains.

Summary: Third one I've had, bought for the vacuum facility more than anything else - that's the USP. Each model is both cheaper, smaller and lighter, which you'd think would be a plus, but actually the impression of quality is diminished (although it's marginal and one appreciates that freight cost savings...
Philips QT 4050 Turbovac Rechargeable Vacuum Beard Trimmer Plus

Summary: I had an earlier version of this beard trimmer, which I found perfectly satisfactory until the cutter broke and I was unable to find a replacement cutter anywhere. But this latest beard trimmer is something of a disappointment.
Summary: So it's fine, I'm happy with it, and it's good for the price being a fairly budget trimmer. But, I had dreams of using a trimmer that would cut perfectly on the first pass. It only does that when the hair is not more than a couple of millimetres longer than the target length, in which case you'll...
