Excerpt: When it comes to shaving, I normally prefer an old fashioned razor. For Christmas, however, I was given a Philips HQ 7390 Reflex Action Shaver. I found it to be a very striking shaver in terms of looks. It had a silver body, some blue along the bottom and sides and also some black colour on the sides. It looks like a normal rotary shaver , with three heads arranged in a triangle, and each one has a spring which allows it to pivot about.
Summary: I bought this for my boyfriend after reading all of the good reviews of this product, he normally wet shaves but thought it would be easier to use an electric one. Well we were severely let down, this razor would only manage 1/2 a job as the hair grows in different directions it just couldn't cut it and the bits it did get it left the skin sore and even grazed in parts!
Summary: I have owned a Philips shaver for the last twenty (or so) years and was well pleased with the performance and reliability; so when my wife suggested that it might be time that I change my shaver, as she could'nt hear the radio in the bedroom when I was shaving in the bathroom, I decided to take the plunge and buy a new one. It's just the same as the old one, except quieter and gives you a closer shave.
Summary: Apart from the rather naff 'boy racer' image this item projects - presumably as a marketing ploy - this is much the best electric razor I've owned: quiet, very effective and very easy to clean and charge. Recommended.
Summary: Like many of the reviewers, I too purchased this item as it costs almost as much to purchase the replacement blades as it does for a new razor. As this particular item is "badged" it is a bit like purchasing a football shirt with a player's name on it after he has been transferred to another club. The real key to my review though is the shaver itself.

Summary: I purchased this Rechargeable Shaver for my Other Half, who has never liked electric shavers because they always made his face sore. He LOVES it!! It did make his neck a little sore a couple of times while he and his skin got used to using it. It gives a nice close shave even after a week of not shaving. A quick shave each day for lovely soft skin. It's easy and QUICK to use, easy to clean, nice to hold, charge lasts ages, looks good! If in doubt....
Summary: I've tried both rotary and foil electric shavers in the past but always ended up going back to wet shaving. With the cost of wet shaving slowly going through the roof and the prepping that is needed I decided to have another look to see how far the technology has come for electric shavers to compete with wet shaving. After some research on both Amazon and Argos reviews I purchased this one.
Summary: I purchased this model from Amazon a few weeks ago and am very pleased with its performance. It gives a very smooth shave without pulling or tugging at the roots. The method of cleaning under a water tap is very quick and hygienic ~ I have been using Philishave shavers for 40+ years and this is undoubtedly the best model yet!
Summary: I have had my Philips HQ7390/17 shaver for a month and have shaved each day (I timed it at about one and a half minutes for each shave) and the low charge light has just illuminated. I had a microscreen twin head shaver before which was a lot noisier - the Philips is very quiet with just a 'purring' sound.
