Pros: I used a Braun shaver for the past 20 plus years and decided to give this a try based on the reviews I read. Got this about a month ago and it has performed well for me. The only complain I have is that it only gives me about seven or eight 5 minutes shaves before it needs to be recharged. I like the fact that I can now shave while taking a shower
Cons: Battery life is not as long as my old Braun shaver
Summary: It holds a charge for several shaves, and when it needs one it charges quickly.
Pros: Gives close and clean shaves. Have had many different brands over the past 40 years and this one, leaves my face the smoothest. Also other brands always left face feeling sore and itchy, no problems with this shaver.
Excerpt: I did my homework and researched this product before my purchase... read all reviews and then placed my order with J&R of NYC... 5 stars to J&R!!!
They made it easy to order and shipped really fast.
I'm very happy with my new Panasonic ES8243A Arc IV Nano Men's Wet/Dry Rechargeable Shaver.
Pros: Close Shave, Compact, Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, Quick Charging Time, Quiet, Requires Few Strokes
Summary: I think I am a Panasonic buyer. These shavers are certainly good products, they have less maintenance than their competitors (for example you can easily go a year before buying screens and blades) and easily flex to the contours of your face. What more can we ask? As for me, I am still looking for a shaver that you run once over your face and the job is done!
Pros: Basically this is a nice Panasonic shaver that was worth the price and allows a better shave that most of the other major brands that I have owned. It has four screens (but only two cutters), quickly recharges and fits nicely in your hand. Works equally well dry or wet.
Cons: Sometimes it seems to leave a little too much stubble, but other times not. It is somewhat disappointing as I previously had bought a cheaper Panasonic model (bought for 30 dollars less) and this one performs on a par with that shaver and I was expecting more. It also seems to have something of an issue where the screen gets compressed against the cutter creating a high pitch sound and a lack of performance. Doesn't seem to damage the shaver though.
Summary: Electric shaver all my life; do not care for rotating shavers after owing a Norelco; also had a Remington and then became a loyal Braun user; now owned by Proctor & Gamble with the result of no customer service; the Braun 5000 worked well and that included its Ni-Cad battery, which when discharged properly will produce years of reliable service; I wanted to extend recharging time, however, the Braun only provided a week worth of shaving between recharging; my shave time...
Pros: Close shave; head privets, fast shave; shaver is well contoured to fit hand; holds hair within unit rather than the hand holding the shaver; made in Japan; useful LED screen; should get two weeks of shaving before recharge; two year warranty
Cons: No hard case, no brush to clean heads; expensive; high cost of shaving for the first two years ($115) of 22 cents per shave; then with replacement of all four blades a more modest and reasonable 11 cents per shave.
