  • Summary: This shaver replaced a popular brand of similar design that was noisy, near impossible to disasemble for cleaning without tools and didn't do a very good job when used. The Panasonic is quieter, lighter and does a fine job. Disassembles easily for cleaning.

  • Summary: I own the previous panasonic model as well (ES4026). That product served me for a number of years, still holds a charge nicely, and does the job. For my beard, the blades started to dull a bit, so it has become a hand-down to my teenage son who really likes it.

  • Summary: Good for the price. Shipping was just a little slow. Does not give me the same close shave as my old razor.

  • Summary: The shaving surface is very small and doesn't seem to crisply shave off the stubble. It's OK for the price but not much more. Probably a decent travel shaver for occasion use.

  • Summary: though it looks like a product that will appear old after a year or two, this shaver gives me a close shave. if you push too hard though, it can give you razor burn, but that's common sense.

  • Summary: This shaver does not give you a close shave. It requires many passes to get just a fair shave. I have a Norelco shaver that gives you a closer shave and in less than half the time using the Panasonic shaver. This shaver might suffice if you are traveling and only need a quick but fair shave.

Very poor performance

TiJoRaN, Tesco
8 January 2016
  • Excerpt: This shaver doesn't cut whiskers, but skates over them. The battery life is very short, and it can't be used whilst plugged into a bathroom socket because it charges on a base station. A complete waste of money. Do not buy it.

Shaver Foils to Please

Paul Durkin, Amazon
7 September 2015
  • Summary: Compared to my previous rotary shaver this foil version does not live up to its claims. Any hair longer than a few millimetres easily escapes the blades and have to be picked off by using the trimmer blade. Would not recommend this shaver to anyone.
