Summary: I've used this shaver a few times a week for a year now and it's still performing well. I use it mainly for "between-shave" cleanup when I don't have time for a blade shave. It's not too noisy, easy to clean and seems to charge up fairly quickly. My beard is average, so a touch-up only takes a couple of minutes. The trimmer blade on the back is a nice feature and does a good job on sideburns.
Summary: Due to slower speed - 10,000 cycles per second - this shave is not comparable with other faster Panasonic shavers (13,000 or 14,000 cps) that I have owned. However, the price being considerably lower, the results are pretty good. The main reason I bought this model was because I happen to have two extra cutter/foil packages for another shaver that I was using and malfunctioned.
Summary: This shaver is better in most ways than the Braun of similar design I replaced it with. The wet shaving and cleaning ability is great. Two complaints though: 1) It won't run while plugged in. You have to finish charging before using it-- perhaps for safety due to the wet shaving feature. 2) the flip up trimmer is narrower and less convenient to use than Braun's. Neither of these is a deal killer, however.
Summary: I have had two less expensive and earlier models of this razor. I can attest to the recommendation to replace the foil every year as both of my razors needed a new foil. Buying from Amazon puts replacement parts at your fingertips. This razor gives me the best shave out of approximately 10 other mfr's I have purchased before. Maybe there are better electric razors out there but I haven't found them. I also appreciate the modest cost!
Summary: Handy shaver works well if you use EVERYDAY. As other reviews state will not cut longer whiskers or Grey hair either. I always need to finish off with a razor. But overall good wet shaver. First few shaves take it easy it will or it did burn a few places on my lower neck and it states well take about a month to get used to it. Gonna give it a try with electric shave as soon as I buy some but wet gelled shaves are good.
Same as other Panasonic wet and dry: it does not give you a close shave.

Summary: Perhaps if you are 15 years of age, this product will give you a close shave... but if you are more than 30... some spots are even hard to reach. I owned an old model a long time ago and wanted a wet/dry shaver and I thought that Panasonic had improved it... but NO... It is okay if you're not going anywhere where a neat appearance is required, but a rather so... so.. one. I will keep for quick jobs, but will continue to use another brand I have for a closer shave.
