Having had a five cutter shaver which worked well for ...

Summary: Having had a five cutter shaver which worked well for a few months until the beard trimmer stopped working, I thought I would replace it with this new 4 cutter version. This is a very average shaver which, for me at least, seems to lack the power to cut beard stubble and is not very effective at removing the stray long hair. I find myself reaching for my trusty Remmington to finish the job off.
Summary: This is a very good shaver and works well when used dry or wet. I probably prefer wet but it is a bit more of a performance. The only negative is the charging plug which is too heavy to stay in a two pin shaver wall socket. Who designed the plug?? My solution was to buy a three pin adaptor and charge it from a normal three pin socket - in the kitchen!
Summary: Cuts much better than my previous (Braun) Shaver Quicker, too, and contours well to face. Would give it 5 stars if I could use it corded as well . Cuts out suddenly when it needs recharging, so watch for warning indicater.
Summary: Doesn't shave as close as I'd have liked, I still have to finish off with my old Phillishave. Awkward to clean, the brush doesn't clean between the blades very well, ideally they need blowing out with an air compressor.
Summary: I wanted this because it is washable. But it is better than my old Braun shaver because it is quieter, lighter and gives a marginally better shave. It also avoids the regular use of the expensive Braun cleaning fluid. Thoroughly recommended.
