Summary: Well, I've been a confirmed Remington man until now ... and the Panasonic is different, takes some time to get used to - and, to be honest, the side cutter needs more oooomph to it, just too little and fiddly ... and weak. But the main shave more than makes up - very smooth result, and the blades in between the foils seem to capture much more than previous - I'm hooked! Just - please - find a cheaper price for the replacement foil and heads when I need to buy!
Summary: I'm writing this on behalf of a 99 year old friend who loves the shaver - however, after only about 18 months the rechargeable battery has packed up. While the battery could be replaced, Panasonic say this has to be done at one of their service centers and the nearest one to me is 77 miles away - I'm not impressed! This makes the shaver extremely expensive.
Summary: It was difficult choosing an electric shaver from all the models available. However, I definitely chose the right one for me with this Panasonic. To date I have only used it dry, and find that it still gives me a perfectly acceptable close shave. It is very well designed ergonomically and is very easy to clean. The charge lasts for ages before it needs recharging.
Summary: i purchased this after getting really slow and often poor results from my philips wet and dry shaver. i tried the Philips rotary shaver after my trusty Braun foil shaver died following many years service. However i could not get on with the Philips and my face was often left with inconsistent shaves, especially when dealing with the random extra thick hairs i have. So i gave that a year and thought enough was enough.
Summary: I have tried all the big name brands - Philips, Remington and Braun and this Panasonic shaver is better than all of them put together. Its really powerful yet quiet and shaves very close (wet and dry), I am really impressed and glad I have found this perfect shaver. I should have got a Panasonic years ago.
