Steve, ReviewStream
26 July 2014
  • Excerpt: For most of my adult life, I have preferred electric razors to wet shaving. I have found them to be more convenient and faster; two things that are important to me with my busy life. I also found I like the fact the razors don’t need to be replaced …

Hard to find a corded only shaver

Paul D., Newegg
13 April 2012
  • Pros: Batteries are expensive to replace on all rechargeable shavers. In the past I have thrown away most of my shavers because of dead batteries. If you don't have a special need for a rechargeable, and few of us do, stick with a corded model.
  • Cons: Hard to find this model in the retail stores.

shave your cost

Anonymous, Newegg
26 November 2011
  • Summary: One of the few good and cheap disposable electric razors on the market that still has a basic cord plugged into the wall I do not trust the unreliability of the battery operated recharable units I can stand infront of a mirror for 10 minutes to shave my coarse face and oddly curved bones
  • Pros: I have owned 3 of these Reason for owning 3 of these: Replacing the entire unit costs less than replacement blades Pros: Comes as a corded unit Not battery rechargable operated Functions as expected Trimmer works excellently Fancy blue color Lightweight
  • Cons: The blades cost more than the razor The blades will wear out within 6 months What to do with old razor that still works when new one arrives Trash, or new project experiment? Most of mine end up as scrapped motors and soldered wires Not entirely waterproof, not a big deal if you dont put it in a ...

Nice Razor

Anonymous, Newegg
22 October 2011
  • Summary: Usually on sale in stores once a year for $19. I've bought two on sale since that's much cheaper than replacement heads.
  • Pros: Nice, smooth, extremely quiet shaving action. Nice looking, comfortable design.
  • Cons: Cord is too short and tightly coiled. It has pulled out of the razor more than once when not standing close to the wall. Plastic bubble package is murder to extricate razor. Previous NORELCO's had a leather pouch, this had a nylon pouch barely large enough to hold razor and cord.

Fantastic

John H., Newegg
27 April 2011
  • Summary: I have been using one of these for 30 years. Get close to 10years service out of them. Had a cordless once and it only lasted 2 years before it quit holding a charge. Don't have a lot of beard but what I do have is like tree stumps. Shave everyday.
  • Pros: Works great. Not cordless. Price was right
  • Cons: Cheaper to buy a new one than replacing the heads
