Summary: I had bought the braun cruzer as my first electric shaver at 16 as i was sick of the irritation i would get from razors. The Trimmer and Beard trimmer were the big reasons as to me buying this product. Ill tell you this thing was pretty damn good. Like Braun says its sleek modern design does fit well into any hand, yet they should definitely have rethought the beard trimming attachment. I dropped this one time and the thing was done.
Summary: As soon as I tried it I wanted to return it. I had a 5-day beard, the shaver would fail to cut most of it, only small spots were shaved. After 10 minutes going over and over it, the result was horrible. I gave up and used my razor. It just does not work.
Summary: I bought norelco one 2 years ago, very expensive it did not shape pretty well, It was very expensive, then I tried a previous model of this braun ones. I work much better now I got the cruzer 3 one, It is works wonderful from the first time, no irritation, shave well. I strongly recommend it.

Summary: Don't be fooled by posts from those needing just a beard trimmer. Listen to those who really SHAVE with this razor. My previous Braun razors were all great. When the foil hit your face - you knew hair was really being cut. Not so the Cruzer. This razor's foil has woefully tiny holes - all arranged in a spoke-wheel pattern - which actually prevents hair from being properly channeled into the blades. I first thought the foil head wasn't seated properly.
Summary: I used a Remington for quite some time, but then started traveling a great deal. The Remington could not withstand the shock and broke quite often. A razor repairman suggested that I try a Braun. The Braun cruzer Z-50 is an excellent razor. It's very sturdy, has a long lasting battery, many features and provides a consistent and close shave. I recommend it highly.
Summary: I've worn a three-day beard for almost eight years, and this combo shaver has performed extremely well as shaver and trimmer. The design allows for neat beard lines, and the shaver--with multiple passes in heavy beard areas or neck curves--performs solidly. Considering the price, it's nearly a steal.
Worst razor I have ever owned. Going back to Remington.

Summary: Doesn't give a smooth close shave. Takes twice as long to get shaven as it does with my Remington. The trimmer is virtually useless. Very disappointed because Braun has the reputation of producing quality items. This is not one of them!
