Summary: This is my first epilator so I can't give a comparison to others, but I'm happy with it so far. You have to go over an area two or three times before it picks up all the hairs so I've dropped a star for that, but the two speeds it offers are very good, and I think it's worth the initial spend over buying lots of cheap disposable razors.
Summary: I'm a bit of a wuss, so I've avoided epilation until I gave this a try. I actually didn't find it too bad on my legs and was very impressed with the results. It lasts way longer than shaving...great for the summer when I have to really be on top of my legs! If you've been put off by pain, then I'd say this legs epilator isn't as bad as you may think...personally I'mm happy not to try other more sensitive areas.
Summary: Bought this for the wife, she gave it to our daughter. My daughter says, fair price on Amazon, works well, but not as good as a razor, which she finds quicker amd does a better job, is less fussy, and she prefers being able to do this in the bath. One pain is that the device comes with a european adaptor, and its only luck that we had one anyway.
Summary: Ha, got ya! No, it is not pain free at all in fact I would say a certain amount of self hatred is required for the more delicate areas such as ankles and top of feet/toes etc ( yes I have monkey hair ) but it does get easier after a couple of uses as the hair appears to be too scared to grow back in it's usual luxurious pelt.
