Summary: Fantastic shaver! After using Phillips shavers for years and my last one costing around £200 I've not been 100% happy with it. Decided to look into Braun and found the 7 Series which has some great reviews. Used it several times so far and it gives much better close shave than my previous Phillips.
Excerpt: I waited for a while before writing this review, it gives quality shave wit less hassle. It takes less rounds to shave the same spot, and I like the option it gives to increase or decrease the intensity of the shave. The only down side is the cost.
Excerpt: Had a 5 series which was ok, but this is far superior to that one. Much closer shave and doesn't miss some hairs like other razors do. Cleans and charges quickly, though a bit noisy, so don't do it until I come home in the evening, as I am up early in the morning.
Excerpt: I've owned 3 other Braun's and all were great. This one is the quietest and gives the best shave of all but the finish wore off(corroded) and the foil developed holes after 4 months of gentle once a day use.
Summary: I have tried several makes of electric razors over the years and have found them not very good. As a result I have always reverted back to a wet shave. I have shaved my head for several years, but a recent nasty cut on my skull made me think again of going back to electric especially for my head.

Summary: I destroyed my Series 3 self clean Braun by plugging the wrong lead into it. Was about to buy a straight replacement when I saw the reviews for this. I used to wet shave for social outings but not any more. I reckon the shave this gives is as close to wet shaving as any electric can get.
Summary: I bought my first rechargeable electric shaver in 1967. Since then I have had about ten different models. Some were foil type cutters and three were Philishave models. This Braun gives the closest shave of any of them and is easy to use.
