Summary: ...it's still very pricey. I previously had a Series 3 shaver that lasted me for 5 years. The battery could always be charged and the shave was always very close, allowing me to shave just twice a week. I'm definitely sticking with Braun shavers from now on, I just wish it was a bit lower in cost.
Summary: If you can't afford this shaver, then save your money until you can. Don't waste your money on anything else. I always had a problem with ingrown hairs that is hindered by acne scars. This is the only shaver that will clip any hair growing in any direction with one swipe. I no longer have an issue with ingrown hairs and the bumps they cause.
Summary: The razor works well and gives a good shave. There is definitely a break in period for your skin to get used to the razor, there are varied settings that the one shaving has to understand and use. The sideburn accessory shaver is awkward and difficult to use. It is hard to see the area you are trying to shave.
Summary: After reviewing several negative reviews and also some positive ones on the internet, I decided to take the plunge and get the Braun 790cc Series 7. I have used it for about 3 weeks and it has met all of my expectations. It is much quieter than any of the other Braun shavers I have used for many years. I have tough and dense whiskers, but still get as close a shave as one can expect with an electric razor.
Summary: This is by far the best electric razor I have ever used. I simply wasn't prepared for how good it could be. Now, I can't imagine using my old one (which was a Braun as well and if it wasn't for that it broke, I would still be very happy with it.).
Summary: This is the first time I have purchased a top of the line shaver. I have sensitive skin and can not use a blade without giving myself as a blood offering. this shaver gives a smooth close shave and is well worth the price, which by the way is a great price at Walmart.
