Summary: Best shaver I have ever used. Had used a rotary shaver my entire life but was having problems with a close shave as I got older. Did extensive research online on shavers and decided to try the Braun. Was not a mistake. Gives a great shave and is easy to use. While it is a little pricey, it is worth the extra money. Would highly recommend.
Summary: I bought this shaver as a replacement for my husband to replace his 7 1/2 years old Braun shaver. My husband says this is by far the best Braun shaver he has ever owned, and over the past 23 years he has owned 3 of them. Braun shavers have never disappointed him. They provide a close shave and the battery life is outstanding. Walmart offered this shaver at an fantastic price.
Summary: Outstanding shaver for someone who is sensitive around the neck area. Does not leave a feeling of burning in the neck area. Close shave. I've tried other brands and I keep going back to Braun. But it does not matter what brand you pick; You get what you pay for. I tried a cheaper model and I was not happy with the results. The shavers last around two years before you may have to consider buying another one. Keep the skin tight, beneath the neck, and you won't get nicked.
Summary: Some people complain about the price but if you add up the costs involved in regular shaving for razors, replacements, & shave foam/gel, this product is pennies per use & the results are far superior.
Summary: ...it's still very pricey. I previously had a Series 3 shaver that lasted me for 5 years. The battery could always be charged and the shave was always very close, allowing me to shave just twice a week. I'm definitely sticking with Braun shavers from now on, I just wish it was a bit lower in cost.
Summary: If you can't afford this shaver, then save your money until you can. Don't waste your money on anything else. I always had a problem with ingrown hairs that is hindered by acne scars. This is the only shaver that will clip any hair growing in any direction with one swipe. I no longer have an issue with ingrown hairs and the bumps they cause.
Summary: The razor works well and gives a good shave. There is definitely a break in period for your skin to get used to the razor, there are varied settings that the one shaving has to understand and use. The sideburn accessory shaver is awkward and difficult to use. It is hard to see the area you are trying to shave.
