Summary: The Braun provides the closest shave of any electric razor I have ever used. I was using a Panasonic and the comparison is not even close. Shaving time is very quick. Let's not kid ourselves, this is an EXPENSIVE electric razor but I think it is worth the price.
Pros: Close to a blade razor, Effective, Great cleaning system
Summary: I can shave in half the time it used to take with my previous Norelco. It shaves substantially closer as well. I used to get chaffing around my neck that would require the use of after-shave to quiet it down. The 9595 has made chaffing a thing of the past--I no longer need after-shave with a lot of alcohol. (I do use pre-shave to make the shaver glide easier.) The bottom line: it shaves much closer without chaffing.
Pros: Close shave, Easy To Use, Great cleaning system, Quick
Cons: A bit noisy, Not cheap, Shaving head gets hot
Summary: I bought this because it was recommended by many. I'm pleased with the product. It give an extremely close shave. I've actually nicked myself if I'm shaving in a real hurry. The self cleaning is rather loud but convent. The head is really flexible and pivots for the closest shave.
Summary: I have used Braun shavers for past 7 years. After 7 years of daily use. I decided to buy a new shaver, so I bought the new "other famous brand" ergonomic shaver. I returned it in 3 days for 3 reasons: flimsy, weak, and ineffective. I had 3'oclock shadow at noon. So I bought the new Pulsonic Braun. I am back in love with Braun. Absolutely the Lamburgini of Shavers to date. I am a busy medical professional and shave while driving.
Summary: Before we purchased this shaver, we researched Consumer Reports online. When we were not able to find the shaver locally, we found it via JR online. [...]I haven't had a shave this close in years. My skin feels like a peach. I can't remember EVER enjoying shaving this much.
Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Good Smell, Good Value
