Summary: Had my Braun series 1 380s-4 for two weeks and used it about 15 times. The foil became detached six times but did not cause injury. I had my previous razor -- same model for 5 years and that never happened even once.
Braun was making single foil shavers 20 years ago that were much better, what's gone wrong

Summary: It's made shaving a real chore again. It struggles with more than 1 day of growth so it takes much longer to shave. The trimmer is also inefficient whichever angle you choose. It's not the fact it's a single foil.
Summary: I bought one of these a few years ago because I wanted a no-nonsense shaver and thought the features on the higher versions were just up-selling tosh. Sadly, this shaver barely does the basics: more than a day's stubble and it really struggles.
Summary: If I'm honest I found this shaver very average. It was replacing a cheap Boot's rechargeable of a very similar design, but no where as good. It did it's job but I wish i haven't spent the money on it!
Summary: 1've always used Phillishave razors and I like to have a spare just in case of a breakdown. As new Phillishaves are very expensive I bought this. It has been a disaster. Poor and patchy shaving leaving me with sore skin. Also it takes twice as long to shave.
