Summary: again being a braun I thought it would be good, it is my second one same model, thought it may have improved, wrong, has the trimmer at the angle I like, as a shaver useless, if I still had the box it would return it. it wont shave 2 days growth.
Summary: Got this as a present from someone who doesn't use electric shavers... It's the least effective design, you have to shave in several directions over every patch of your face. Sadly it tugs at your hair leaving an irritating sensation after shaving and you will spend a lot longer shaving as opposed to using a good shaver.
Summary: Worst shaver I have ever had. Noisy, vibrates strongly, poor shave and very rough on the skin. The foil guard is extremely fragile and if a crack appears in it the shaver will cut your skin. Absolutely useless for longer hairs, e.g. under chin, on neck. I am going back to Philishave; the circular heads are more awkward to clean but they give a good, smooth shave.
Summary: I have used electric shavers for 40 years and this is the worst by far. Don't be attracted by the cheap price; it just doesn't work. You go over the same area time after time but still the stubble remains, and I am no Bluto. For the first time in years I have resorted to wet shaving, this thing is in the bin and I'm looking for a replacement. Pity I can't award no stars!
Experience of using the Braun Series 1 190-1 Electric Shaver

Summary: I purchased this Braun Shaver on 9 February this year for my Husband. This was to replace another similar product which he has owned for more than six years. Over the past few weeks he has only been using the new shaver. The main faults in the Braun Shaver are: It does not cut efficiently. It takes about twice as long as the old one to have a shave and at the end the chin still feels rough to the touch. It leaves certain hairs uncut.
Summary: Update 26/7/12: I've now used this shaver for about a month and a half and I've felt the need to come and reduce the score I gave from 3 stars to 1. The fundamental flaw of the razor is that it takes SO long to get a decent shave. I've tried every possible technique, light/heavy pressure, difference angles, pre-electric lotion, you name it but it takes easily twice as long as a wet shave.
