Summary: Got one for my hubby as he likes his hair pretty short and though this would make the job easier. At first glance it looks pretty cool, however after setting it up for a medium length to try it out my hubby ended up with random bits which were pretty much shaved bare, with other parts long and untouched. In the end I had to finish the job using a standard hair shaver with no guard to make sure it was even.
Summary: I cannot believe the number of adverse reviews for this terrific bit of kit! I have just bought, charged and used this machine for the first time and it was great. I watched your video and read the instructions carefully and "Hey Presto!!" the results were just what I wanted. So what's the matter with all you negative bods out there, did you read the instructions properly? Or did you try to get a number one before trying from number 6 downwards?
Summary: The info on the Amazon sales page says "Auto-lube system keeps the blades oiled" but there is no mention of that on the product box or instructions & it needs to be manually oiled regularly, at least every use. There is a little oil to get started with. In initial sixteen hour charge is recommended & I had it charging for at least twenty hours before I used it for the first time but the battery was flat after twenty minutes of use & my haircut wasn't finished.
Summary: That's what my 2 year old daughter said to me after the first day of using this terrible terrible product I received the easy cut as an early xmas present and was very excited about using it for the first time. I had had a babyliss clipper once before, it didnt cut my hair short enough and the rechargable battery died after about 3 uses so i made sure that I watched the video, charged the unit for 16 hrs (actually 17) and oiled the blades before 1st use.
Summary: Seduced by the TV adverts, I bought one. Had to get my wife and daughter to try and salvage something (between bouts of hysteria) half-presentable from the appalling results. Like holding a rotary lawnmower to your head. Only, much, much worse. Scarring resulted as well. An evil piece of rubbish. avoid at all costs. I have been advised to go for the professional Wahl range if serious about this kind of self harm.
Summary: I was very nearly put off buying because of reading some of the adverse reviews, but I am so pleased I didn't let them put me off as I'm extremely pleased with the product. Already it has paid for itself! One comment directed to BaByliss, why not have the trimmer rechargeable as is the main cutter unit?? It doesn't make sense for it not to be.
Summary: These 'clippers' are extremely poor and although the design idea is a good one, in reality they have major flaws. As the blades are set in a circular shape around the inside, they rely on the fact the your head is exactly round like a ball - which noone's is!! As a result it cuts the hair on some parts of your head really short, and other parts it cant reach resulting in an unevan and 'tufty' cut! Waste of money!
Summary: Never again will I ignore reviews on Amazon. On the plus side: + The clipper itself is simplicity itself to operate. + The length guides are simple to use. + The device itself is easy to hold. + The clipper seems to be sturdily constructed. There are bad points though: - The clipper takes an age to charge, and battery life is allegedly twenty minutes.
very good for short haircuts - but must be oiled !!

Summary: this device works well for me. charged it up overnight - it was still going strong after 15 mins. i cut my hair roughly short before using the clipper. then followed the instructions - no problems it works well. there are 7 grades of cut from zero , 1 to 3 and 4 to 6, using two cutting guides. zero is virtually a shave and six is about 3/4 inch. i estimate that a fortnightly cut will suffice for me. very easy to use, no catching or snagging.
