Summary: I bought this one as a backup machine because my other one is extremely old. After trying this machine, I liked this machine so much I bought a second one. It plows through thicknesses of fleece and can sew on thin fabric too.
Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality, Light Weight So I Can Easily Move It, Sews Through Thick Layers Of Fabric
Summary: Frankly, I am not finding my new machine very user friendly. I have used Kenmore sewing machines all of my life, have taught sewing, and am pretty proficient at sewing. My 30+ year old Kenmore was no longer functioning so I purchased a Singer 3221 model machine.
Summary: As the name says very easy and simple to use and still very versatile. I am a man and have been associated with Singer machines since my childhood because of my mother. I am 67 now and still can use a Singer machine.
Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality
Summary: I purchased this machine to replace my grandmother's machine from the 1940's that my mother and I have been using for years. The needle finally broke and it's impossible to find a replacement. I love this machine and all the different stitches (only had one stitch with the 40's model).
Summary: I have had the machine in my closet for 5 years... never used it... people had to show me how to use it and they couldn't figure it out... I was finally showed correctly and and now i can't thread the bobbin right... the thread I have wasted just trying to figure out what the problem is...
