Summary: It arrived just as promised. Is a wonderful machine, easy to thread, auto tension, a myriad of stitches, and all the feet you could ever need. My 17 year old whipped up a dress in no time and had never sewn clothing before.
Summary: Good, basic machine. Mostly easy to use. If yours doesn't come with the operating instructions, as mine did, I highly recommend you spend the money and order one from Singer. I tried to cheap out and download and print it for free and found it to be just too confusing. Ordered the manual and things became much clearer.
Summary: My mom bought this machine for 700 US and used it about 7 times before it collapsed. Its just not worth the money when you can get a cheap sewing machine for about 100 US. They are all just assembled in China and the only difference is the price. This was a real disappointment as you expected quality from Singer and for that price!
Summary: Like: This Singer is so simply to use. Just push the button and start sewing. Dislike: The Light bulb is not that bright. But I keep a lamp behind the machine for extra light. I purchased this Singer because it was a Factory Service Machine. On a budget, it was a good buy.
Summary: Haven't used the machine much yet, but satisfied so far. I have limited sewing skills and ambitions and this machine meets my skill level without too many extra bells and whistles. It is as described in the product listing. The only improvement in the listing I could suggest is a more detailed description of the attachments included. I had to go the manufacturer's site for that and was still not entirely confident that all attachments would be there - they were.
