Summary: I just love this little Singer Machine. It does not take much space and is easy to learn how to use with easy to read instructions. I needed something that I could use and I have not sewn in about 45 years so it was easy to start over again. I like that it is easy to thread and to use the reverse feature and for the price is worth every penny!
Summary: I use this sewing machine weekly. When I bought this machine my intention was to learn how to sew and I really did learn with it. It is a very basic machine but is very sturdy. It is not for heavy fabrics. It can withstand denim but nothing too thick. I sew weekly including hand stitch even though I have been sewing two years on it I have learned a lot with this singer. Only recommend to beginners.
Summary: This is an easy to use sewing machine, I am a beginner so needed dvd. Dvd stopped working half way through, contacted OO who were very good in replacing dvd for me, love this machine, its perfect for me.
Summary: I must say I have owned a sewing machine before but was so dissapointed I gave up on sewing. Then I thought 'have a look again' and saw this Singer Sewing Machine. The price is fantastic, but as we know cheap does not always mean good quality. I have done a good research and Singer has always been a renowned company. I gave it a go and ordered this machine. NOW, I can not stop sewing and get into new projects.
Pros: Can Withstand Use, Easy To Use, Perfect For Starters, Versatile
Summary: Having last bought a machine 40 years ago, can't get over how light in weight this one is. Threading through the lever arm is fiddly as it does not really rise above the casing. Will be keeping an eye on this! Foot tends to come off quite easily - not used to the clip in system. Have only done a few basic jobs so far, but it seems to be doing the job. Sewed fine material and a leather bag with relative ease.
