Summary: I am six months down the line with this unit, having replaced a "full" Humax, I know, but I like to keep things... Anyway, the library has started acting up after a faultless six months. The menu tells me I am half full, (having watched 80% of it) but the library page tells me that there is nothing there. Sometimes it tels me there are 5 titles, but that varies. The programme timer tells me it is primed, but nothing is recorded the next day.
Summary: Had this for about 6 weeks now, have done all updates. I purchased this to replace Sky as I no longer wanted to pay monthly but would have missed the recording facilities. Love the box, find it easy to use, picture is great, set up was straightforward and once connected to the internet it updated to the latest version.
Summary: As you come to expect with Samsung their quality is always good. Easy to set up and works well. I had a Bush before the Samsung and had problem after problem with it so got a refund and lesson learnt buy makes you know have a good name.
Summary: Some of the old reviews focus on the many problems this box launched with, however it seems pretty much all the problems were software related, and the vast majority of them are now resolved. It just picked up one of these boxes to day to replace Sky, and so far very pleased (I never had the old software, but everything is working as expected so far.

Summary: This is a new review based on the new software released for this box on the 23rd June 2011 Version 4.0.296 followed by my old review for reference. This software update has now made this a valid choice for the purchase of a FreeSat+ box but it has taken Samsung nearly three months to achieve this. It still has two bugs introduced with this software release which are not major but do require fixing.
