The DCT2500 features DigiCipher® II that enables the device to be configured to support real time, reverse path communication. Besides that, it supports VOD, Internet, Electronic Program Guide (EPG), Impulse Pay-Per-View, e-mail, home shopping et cetera. In addition, it is powered by 64 and 256 QAM and digital processing technology that boosts channel capability while delivering digital audio and video quality for TV viewing. In addition, it is also built with 175 MHz MIPS 32 CPU with 8K instruction and 8K data caches. Also, it is installed with high speed memory with support for up to 64 MB of DDR SDRAM. Furthermore, it is geared by Dolby® 5.1 Digital Audio Output that delivers high quality surround sound audio output.
