Summary: Amazing technology for the price. I've previously had a Pioneer DVR560HX-S, which used a hdd and dvd recorder to record tv progs. Very good it was, too. Recently I've noticed a lot of decent progs on Freeview HD and the Pio tuner couldn't receive them. I find that the Icecrypt can record 2 progs at the same time and let you watch something else it has recorded previously. The 2TB hdd will take some filling.
Summary: Goods exactly as requested and delivered very promptly. Well packaged so well done!!! Have to say the Unit is much harder to operate than the reviews said though!!! Don't understand also why when you are viewing with an HD TV via the HDMI cable the unit doesn't default to HD Channels rather than you have to opt for them each time???
Had potential but was flawed (could have been faulty)

Summary: I returned this box, it was slow and not the best interface I have seen .. Main issue was that it locked up 3 times in as many days and failed to record 2 programs which is pretty annoying as the whole point Is to not miss things in the first place.
Summary: I would like to point few things to help people in despair (as I was). This pvr will give you nothing but trouble (mainly freezing randomly, and most annoyingly inability to skip forward etc due to it being very slow) if you don't do this: revert to the first firmware (found on icecrypt's website) make sure you disable the subtitles on the main menu (you can view programs with their subs once you start playing/watching live - just disable subs by default).
Summary: I bought this top box as a gift for my husband for Christmas. It was very easy to set up and use, although, we need to put the TV volume up really high when watching through the box and need to remember to turn the volume back down if returning to the TV!! We like being able to create folders to store all like for like films and programs together.
Summary: Recommend this to anyone, picture quality is best ever, much clearer than sky HD easy to fit, instructions take some concentrating, but once understood is child's play, sounds expensive but not for what you get!
Summary: This is without a doubt the worst PVR I have ever owned. I bought it to replace an old Humax and for HD capabilities. It is not reliable at all. It loses all recording lists on a rescan (fair enough, but it would be nice if it warned you of this during the rescan). It also randomly fails to record things, or on a couple of perplexing occasions switching channels part way through a recording.
