Excerpt: The Humax PVR-9150T is absolutely fantastic and does exactly what it says on the tin. Boasting a 160GB HDD, the box is able to hold a high volume of programming as well as series link your favourite shows, making life so much easier when you're a very busy bee!
Summary: i bought this after my thompson pvr finally pushed me over the edge, it sets itself up, is very easy to use and you could probably figure out how to use it without the manual, definately one of the better pvr's out there
Summary: Had almost given up on all this free digital viewing by terrible service and reception. Heard about the Sony VTX-D800U as being the best for quality reception and realiable service, but come to purchasing seems it was end of line and no were to be bought (seems Sony do not have a replacement...
Summary: This was listed as a "Best Buy" in Which? magazine. I was looking for something that was fairly simple to operate, and as I was going away for 3 weeks, something that would be an effective replacement of a video and DVD recorder in recording TV programmes that I would otherwise miss.
Summary: I would echo the other positive reviews, this is a great hard drive recorder for a sensible price. The fan noise is noticeable when you are close, although I don't notice it now during normal viewing. I was impressed by how easy it was to record exactly what I wanted, at the touch of a button.
Summary: I had a 9200t prior to the 9150t. The newer PVR is very similar to the 9200T but : 1. It has the little used USB, SPDIF and composite interfaces removed. 2. The front Panel no longer has an full LED display 3. The 9150T is much smaller.
Summary: After buying and returning 2 Thomson Top Up TV - 160GB Freeview Digital TV Recorder I had almost given up on getting a good well priced one when after doing a bit of review searching on the Internet I thalt I would try the Humax.
Summary: I bought the Humax PVR-9150T for my mother, who at 67 years old, is a bit of a technophobe. No need to worry here because the set up and operation couldn't be simpler. Plug it in and it searches for channels etc. Recording couldn't be easier.
Summary: Despite owning an integrated digital TV, offering Freeview, for over 10 years I have always resisted buying a machine that would allow me to record the multitude of available digital channels; being quite happy to use our Sanyo VHS machine to record programmes from the four available terrestial...
Summary: Have now owned a Humax 9150 for two weeks and would echoe all the previous positive comments. It is incredibly easy to set up and operate. Everything is logically laid out so learning the operations quickly becomes intuitive. Picture quality is excellent.
