Excerpt: The video recorder is not quite dead but is certainly not very well. Ours was relegated a few years ago to only being used to play tapes we'd already got, and this only because we didn't want to spend money replacing the kids' favourites with DVDs when they would only be watching them for another...
Excerpt: I got bought this as a gift for my birthday mainly because my partner had sky and didnt like the fact he couldnt record the TV at mine. At first I found it hard to remeber I could rewind pause and record and didnt really use it.
Summary: Most of what the 9150T does is brillient but there are two or three areas where it falls down. The EPG clears when it is put into standby and takes eternity to repopulate after coming out of standby. It occasionally freezes for no apparent reason.
Summary: This is an update as I've had it 18 months. Easy to set up. Freeview works fine and is good quality. I was watching everything though the Humax but I have now bought a Freeview TV so the Humax is only used for recording. Records 2 programmes at the same time and lets you watch a third.
Summary: UPDATE: I have had this for about 2 and a half years now. I have had relatively few problems. I have found that it does lock up and freeze but this only happens when the disk is nearly full. Deleting a few programmes does the trick.
Summary: I bought my 9150T 2 days ago and was very disappointed with the noise of the fan but then I checked the Software Version in the Status option in the menu and found that my box had a version from Sept 08 installed.
Summary: After doing some research and reading the first review by Molly I purchased the Humax 3 days ago. I set it up in minutes, very simple to use and I soon had all my favorites series linked never to miss them again.
Summary: I am not particularly technical but I had this installed and in use in no time. Very easy to work and so useful! I'm already wondering how I lived my life without it. I was a bit hesistant about buying it because I do find all the different kit quite confusing but I have absolutely no regrets.
Summary: The recorder was easy to set up - even for a female seventy year old. After years of dealing with a VHS recorder and having piles of tapes with forgotten recordings with no labels, it is heaven to just go to the list of recordings and pick what I want to watch.
Summary: Opened the box, plugged it in and off I went. Really easy to use. Good quality picture / sound. Dose what is says on the box. If you are looking for something easy to use that wont break the bank, this is the one to go for.
