Not That great

  • Summary: I try to do reviews after having the product for a while. In this case about 18 months when the item developed a fault. Everything works except the aerial socket in the machine which causes the machine to display a short circuit aerial problem on the tv screen. To ensure it was the machine I changed all of the aerial connections, even the wall socket, which proved it was indeed the machine. My other tvs all work without a problem in the same set up.

  • Excerpt: This is the second box of this kind we've had. The first lasted little over a month before failing to re-boot next morning after being shut down at night. We sent it for repair, but it was deemed unrepairable and a new one was sent. We were advised that this might be due to switching all our appliance plugs off at night. We're an eco friendly house hold so being told that we need to keep plugs on at night was not something we wished to hear.

  • Summary: I guess a few maybe in the same situation as me very soon or already have been? I have an 80+ year old Grandmother who is very reliant on her TV thesedays. She was never the sharpest of knives, by her own admission, but could handle a VCR quite happily. Now that the digital tide is beginning to gain momentum, I had to find a way to move her onto a PVR (with a digital tuner built in), so firstly I found one from a company called Inverto (never heard of them before).
