Summary: This is now my second humax after my old one died I think after five years but the price you pay it is not to bad. Didn't think they could get better but the HD improves things even more. Easy Programme Guide.
Summary: Very easy set up and easy to read manual. First time tune was a doddle, HD channels were picked up right away; nice and clear remote. This box does things I will never use but what I do use is great, it even tells you when you are watching a channel in standard definition that it is available in HD, I think that is good !
Summary: A Stylish looking box and easy installation. Quickly adjusted to the different but attractive on-screen programme format. Zapper took a few trial runs before working out which dot, dash, arrow, etc., was the one to use for specific commands, but fine now. I like the computer 'windows' style storage area for recorded items and the self-generating 'folder' for each 'series' of programmes.
Summary: I found the recorder relatively easy to set up and use; some of the instructions were a little unclear and I am still finding new (or easier) ways of using the recorder. The instruction manual details each operation but sometimes the words and phrasiology take several readings before the right buttons are pressed and the unit does what one requires of it ! I find the Recorded Items index excellent, easy to use with the minimum of fuss.
Summary: After much research and looking at all of the specifications of what the Recorder did I decided to buy this product. It basically sets itself up. Easy to set up recordings with choice of HD channels flagged up when available. Recordings on series link go into individual folders. Not so straight forward to get rid of empty folders, having to first select then go to OPT+.
Summary: Not good i bought this item as a present for my girl add it for 3 weeks didn't no it was the wrong item I let them no about the problem they said you have add it to long wich was rubbish they would not have it back so don't shop with them that's my advise
Summary: Comes with a small HDMI cable for connecting to the TV. All you need are the input cable (co-axial in my case) and whatever audio cables you need to connect from TV or box to sound system. Self set-up was easy - it just runs through a wizard. I got all the regular freeview channels, HD is high up starting with Ch101 - BBC and ITV offerings plus a few others. Nice.
