Humax Foxsat-HD is a High Definition Television (HDTV) receiver. It plays transmissions over HDMI, YPbPr or SCART cables using HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) in 1080i, 720p, 576p, and 576i resolution formats.

Features

The Foxsat-HD features plug and play that installs automatically once user connect it to other device and comes with SCART cables that lets user to connect the receiver to up to two other components such as TV and DVD recorder to records the TV programmes, or connect to a DVD player to play video. Besides that, it receives HDTV signals via MPEG-4 AVC or H.264 and MPEG-2 (digital and analogue). In addition, it also supports VB-S2 and DVB-S compatible that allows user to receive free to air and encoded TV and radio programmes via satellite. Furthermore, it is powered by Dolby Digital audio format which provides high quality of surround sound. Also, it supports Ethernet and provides programme guide to assist viewer. Users can automatically upgrade software via satellite. The standard package comes with a remote control and batteries. It measures 80 x 45 x 200 mm in dimension and weighs 1.5 kg.
