Dish network in a rv.

We have found that the Dish 301 receiver is not user friendly in an RV. We have to search for the different satellites. For instance if I find 110 and want to see something on 119, I have to search for the other satellite. This sometimes takes anywhere from 1/2 hour to half a day. I have been told by Dish personnel that we should have enrolled in Directv. I talked to a satellite serviceman and he thinks if we had the 311 we would eliminate our problem, however, when I talked to a tech from Dish he was not sure that would solve the problem. Dish is not user friendly for a RV.
