Digital Stream DTX9900 is a digital-to-analogue converter box from Digital Stream. This converter enables user to connect to analogue TV to enable user to receive over-the-air digital broadcasts. It allows user to watch more TV programs as it is capable to connect to numerous digital TV stations.

Features

The DTX9900 main feature is enables to receive and displays all 18 ATSC formats. Besides that, it is also a NTIA Approved Coupon Eligible Converter Box (CECB). In addition, it features 75 ohm RF Video/Audio Jack (Coaxial Cable) as one of its output. There is a remote control supplied that enables control from a distance. Plus, it also features Closed Captioning that allows text to be displayed on the screen. Also, it features V-Chip that allows user to block programs based on their ratings category. Furthermore, it also features sleep timer and channel buttons on box to ease user to control it. It is also capable of receiving major an minor free HDTV off-air-signals. It also provides channel 3 or 4 output for analogue TV. It is fully compliant with ATSC standards and Energy star requirements satisfied. It also features automatic time-zone setting. It delivers good quality of composite video with left/ right audio output.

  • Connecting a DVD

    I have a digital streaem DTX900 converter box, and it is connected to a TV and VCR through the RF cables perfectly. However, I am trying to connect a DVD player as well, yet the TV does not have video cables. Currently I have the DVD connected to the box, but when I attempt to watch a movie through the DVD I press the A/D button on the remote, and the box just shuts off, so I only recieve the DVD image for a few seconds. I was wondering what is another way to connect the DVD so that it actually works...
