Summary: The media server came minus the hard drive. The seller was excellent. delivery was on time and after sales service was great. we were able to quickly resolve the issue. I have installed a 1TB hard drive and the media server is performing well.
Summary: i received this item in a big box with not enough packaging material , the inside of this item contains very fragile electronic parts and bulb filaments that would be damage if being bounced around due to this being poorly packaged .i did not want to take any chances and returned it .
Summary: The Good... I bought home server primarily to use as a NAS for real time backups when I shoot a DSLR tethered to a laptop, and it is very reliable for this purpose. I tried other small NAS solutions and experienced lockups and crashes when moving a large number of files.
