Summary: Niche market only e.g. anorexic supermodel as with less than 6Nm max torque and Non-variable speed control you might as well use a screwdriver and forget using it for drilling. Poor speed and direction switch design - very difficult to operate even with the small hands of a "master craftsman".
Summary: I was getting fed up of the time taken to install ceiling speakers. Anyone who has had to fit more than two speakers will know of the arm burn!! This sorted it out, gives feel so you don't over tighten screws and is light and manageable. Well worth the money for the time saved. It fits in your pocket too! Usual DeWalt build quality and has LED lights at the end.
Summary: Most drill/drivers only have right-angled handles - a pain for screwdriving next to fixed object - and often the driving speed is too high. I wanted a screwdriver which had a slow speed and where I could change the angle of the handle. This met the requirement. It is also very powerful for D-i-Y tasks and the LED light is a bonus for enclosed spaces. The only thing missing is trigger-controlled variable speed for a very slow start up.
Summary: Have used this tool for at least six months and would not want to be without it. Limited for large screws but as an electrician it handles all i can give it. Battery lasts more than a day (my use) recharge is one hour. The tool is so versatile i am lost without it. If i have to point out a bad point it is the for/rev/lock off switch with gloves or big hands dificult to use. If not used easy to switch on in the toolbag still a great tool.
Summary: A very good cordless driver. Easy to use (push-pull) chuck and clear torque and speed settings. The folding handle allows access to smaller places than a normal driver and fits nicely into the hand. It also has a useful LED light. Don't expect the power of a 14volt but it will cope admirably with smaller screws.
Summary: Bought this to keep in my tool box to use on occasions, when I can't be bothered to get my bigger drill driver off the van. Not happy with it. It was juist like putting screws in with my bigger drill driver when the battery is nearly flat. So I returned it to Screwfix for a refund.
Summary: Having bought cheap power screw drivers in the past, and not been impressed at all with either the power applied or the battery life (All had to be recharged with the battery in situ) this Dewalt was a real gem, 2 batteries and stand alone charger and plenty of power, good shape trigger, even got a couple of bit holder looking LED's on it to see as well. Reliability?
