Summary: Works extremely well. Scans documents fast. The more I've used it the better I've liked it. The software that comes with it is easy and intuitive. Its a solid well built unit. Looks a little clunky but works very well. The only thing I'd like to see added is the ability for networking. But at the price!!!
Summary: Great scanner - definitely made my life a bit easier. It's fast and can scan both sides of a page at the same time. The bundled software was dodgy, hence 4 rather than 5 stars, so I opted to buy ExactScanPro for Mac and have been happy with the combo. FYI I scan maybe 50 pages twice a month, so not exactly a high demand environment but more than my HP all-in-one could handle well.
Summary: I was disappointed with Xerox for not producing a windows 8 driver for my Xerox Documate 510 scanner and was forced to buy a new scanner for that reason. This scanner works good with Windows 8.1 but it feels lighter weight and not as heavy duty as my old 510. It does a good job scanning and I like the PaperPort software included.
Summary: The scan functions work well and produce good results. The software is a bit hard to figure out though, and customizing the scan types and qualities and paper sizes is not as intuitive and strait forward as I would expect from modern software engineering.
Summary: After several weeks I am still unable to successfully scan a single page. Support from xerox is non-existent. The instructions are inadequate, both for successful installation and for software operation. If you want to scan, purchase a different scanner, even if it costs more!
Summary: Do not purchase this scanner if you have a Mac. I'll be more specific. Don't buy this if you've got a Mac that you have OS X 10.8.5 or 10.9.3 on. If you have an older Mac and still have OS X 10.7, then get this but if you ever upgrade your OS, you will find the included software, which is what really makes any hardware great, worthless.
