Junk

Brett B, Amazon
27 May 2015
  • Summary: Purchased 2 of these for my tax office as a slightly cheaper alternative to the scan snap, but found it to be far short of what one would expect from Xerox. Scanning modes needs a fair amount of adjusting and fine tuning out of the box to do what the scan snap does out of the box.

Cody L., Amazon

A $300 Piece of Garbage

Jessy Lemieux, Amazon
18 September 2014
  • Summary: Do not buy this scanner. I have had mine for about a year and the document feeder is now essentially useless. It claims a high page capacity but will not scan more than a few pages without feeding 2 or even 10 sheets at a time. Also, $300 is way too much when you still need a printer to go with it.

Skip This Product Unless You Are Tech Savvy

Former Alpine User, Amazon
30 July 2014
  • Summary: I am a plug and play kind of person. So, if you are as well, then do not purchase this product. I unboxed it, plugged it and sent hours trying to get it to work. There are endless options you need to review and boxes to check and terminology you need to understand.

MAC USERS - SKIP THIS ONE

Dave R., Amazon
17 February 2014
  • Summary: I just received this scanner today and started loading to my iMac as the advertisement said it was capable of. No such thing! It is extremely annoying when a product is misrepresented. Now I have to make the decision to return this or do something I did not want to do and hook it up to a PC.

Buy this scanner if you like to scan in crooked

wicklivin, Amazon
16 February 2014
  • Summary: I will never, ever buy a Xerox or Visioneer scanner again. The center roller bit is garbage, everything will pull in and scan in crooked. Double feed detection is a joke, since it constantly pulls in multiple sheets. Save your money and buy something else.

Howard S., Newegg
28 July 2013
  • Summary: Switched from a Fujitsu fi-4120C scanner because fujitsi would not update drivers from xp to win 7. Very sad because scanner was very good. Xerox arrived, looked great and had small footprint. Driver CD was damaged and would not load, bummer.
  • Pros: Price was good if it performed properly, twain driver, speed
  • Cons: Everything else, driver disk damaged, constant jams, one touch and xerox software not good

Not happy

Cindy K., Newegg
30 January 2013
  • Pros: It is compact. Newegg is good!
  • Cons: This scanner jams quite often, not good. Also, the last and final time it jammed for me I opened it up and the front door broke off. I tried to get Newegg to replace it and they said it would be Xerox that will replace it under the one year warranty. Wrong, Xerox would not replace it either. Xero...
