Summary: Xerox's RMA process is no more painful than anyone else's
Pros: Works well, when it works
Cons: We ordered 7 of these through 2 vendors (NewEgg being on of them). 3 have died already, 2 within the first week. We ordered 8 other fi-6130's about the same time, all been working without a problem... so far.
Summary: We have at least 70 to 80 of this model scanner in a large outpatient Medical group. They are excellent when they are working well, but when they fail they fail hard. For the amount that these scanners cost ( the price of this unit is outlandish ) they should work trouble free for 3 years minimum.
Summary: We bought one of these a year ago and after 6000 scans it has stopped scanning on duplex. I suspect that this is a problem with the drivers and "some computers". I am still not sure why this is. It may be the drivers or windows 7 or windows updates.
Summary: Started working in an office, and for the first part of the year, had a Dinosaur of a scanner. That thing worked great. We updated my computer and the Dino didn't work for it anymore, so I got this one.
