Excerpt: What a wonderful unit! It's small enough to take traveling, which is the major reason I purchased it, simple to use and versatile with the docking station. Hadn't thought about a docking station when considering units although this unit provided it for about the same cost as competitive unites without it so I purchased it along with the scanner.
Pros: Compact, Durable, Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, Lightweight, Versitile
Excerpt: I got the scanner running quickly and am starting to get used to how to use it. It takes a little awareness of where the scan area is and that you have to keep the wheels spinning (was scanning a raised object). The WiFi is alright...takes too long to get going and it's tedious to change your wifi to the wand's location, but generally a cool solution to transferring images.
Pros: Compact, Easy to Use, Good Scan
Cons: Bulky, Horrible Apps, Horrible Ios App, Tedious To Transfer
Summary: This was a great device that exceeded my expectations. It is great for books or other bound docs but was a bit hard to handle for things like pictures that were not fastened. But that is no fault of the device. It gives high quality scans.
Excerpt: I bought this for an art project. I always find textures around NYC that I wish I could scan, this is the perfect tool. Although it can be fickle, the result is somewhat strange - not quite a photo and not quite a scan, somewhere in between. Works well on flat surfaces, and poorly on non flat surfaces.
Pros: Compact, Easy to Use, Good For Documents, Lightweight
Summary: I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator and I bought this scanner hoping it would take care of some large format needs. It works great and the DPI is clear. But if you don't have the Docking Station your scans may become distorted. Now I am finding myself looking into the price of the Docking Station and also alternative scanning solutions.
