Summary: Our need for a scanner was just to attach documents to our accounting files. We didn't need extremely high quality for photographs or publications. This little scanner is amazing! We put the document in the feeder, hit a button, and it sends it to a screen where we can save it with a file name.
Summary: Like others, I am a long time user of Paperport software and strobe scanners, I have tried a lot of combinations and the Strobe Pro and Paperport 9 on Windows XP was the high point, it's been downhill from there.
Nightmare! Don't buy. Read the reviews and believe.....

Summary: If I could give this no stars, I would. I'm a 20+ IT engineer and this should have been easy. BUT, it wasn't. I ordered this scanner because I was trying to file my "important" documents somewhere other than in paper form. The price seemed reasonable so I bought it BEFORE reading all the reviews.
Summary: This is an acceptable scanner if you're looking for something small to scan an occasional page or two but the page feed design is awful. Jams frequently, has no feed delay setting, skews constantly. I normally need to scan the same page 2 or 3 times before it gets it right.
Summary: I agree with all the other reviews that it as faults in paper feeding, paper size, etc. but while I managed to deal with all that and still make good use of the thing - that was gone once I got Windows 7.
Summary: The Scan camera is not the most reliable, by that I mean in the middle of scanning it will occasionally stop picking up the image leaving you with a half-blank image. I basically gave up on the duplex scanning all together. I used to be a bug fan of Visioneer.
