XP 200 handy for eliminating saving of paperwork. It does work with Win7
4 November 2011
Summary: I am updating this review since I now have a new computer with Windows 7 and it does work with the beta driver for Vista. In fact, I no longer get the "Scan canceled by user" error that I would sometimes get with my XP computer. So I no longer recommend that you not buy it.
Summary: I purchased the Visioneer RoadWarrior about 6 months ago and use it every day, 4 days a week. I travel extensively and put the scanner in my computer bag so it stays with my on my carry on bag. I have absolutely no issues at all with this scanner.
Summary: This was a cheap scanner purchase. I needed it simply to be able to scan my homework to file since I take online courses and wanted to save on mailing my homework a few times a week. Installing is not an easy thing to do. It is very specific on the install. Do it out of order and it will not work.
Summary: This can be a little workhorse if you have several hundred documents you're trying to digitize instead of buying another filing cabinet. The size is just right, not taking up too much real estate.
Quality, Affordable, Modern Mobile Scanning for Vista
13 November 2008
Summary: For on the move scanning, this device is very good. Although the Strobe XP 300 can scan both sides of a sheet at the same time, it comes at a premium. So, for the money and the quality, the Strobe XP 200 is the right choice for great mobile scanning on a budget.
