Pros: Even though I tried to find something good about this product, I could not.
Cons: Very poor resoultion, if not on the highest setting (scans super slow) the documents are unreadable. The thing jam constantly and the feeder pulled the paper crooked, what a piece of junk. New Egg should pull this crapper out of stock. I had to pay 15% restocking fee too. I also did not like the ...
Summary: I have had great experiences with Fujitsu scanners, and some Canons. I will stick with them or Xerox in the future.
Cons: Cheap! This scanner is low quality all around. It does not have guides for keeping the paper straight. The back door, which you are supposed to change the position of based on what type of media you are scanning, is more likely to come completely off rather thanslide from one position to the othe...
Summary: I did RMA the unit, but lost 15% and the cost of return shipment in this deal. Shipment by Newegg was fast as usual.
Pros: This unit comes with sufficient bundled software to process documents and photos. The price seemed cheap when it was on sale for $99.00. It converts scanned documents to pdf format for storage and searching.
Cons: This unit is junk! There is no guide to feed documents to the scanner. As a result, documents are scanned partially off page or crooked. Allthough there is a lot of software bundled with the product, it is outdated and difficult to instal. Quality of scanned documents is poor.
Summary: The installation is so difficult and requires more time than I am willing to spend on a scanner that is supposed to be plug and play more like plug and throw away. Get something else that is easier to install.
Summary: The scanner I used in 1999 was better and easier to install than the Strobe XP 220. Installation Process from hell The installation process was a nightmare. Brought me back memories from hardware installations dating back to 1999, nay...1997.
