Cons: Not compatible with my EHR software. When I called tech support, they told me to call my EHR. When I called my EHR, they told me to call the scanner people. I just got so frustrated I returned it. Likes to jam up papers when scanning into a pdf.
Summary: Our office owns 5 of these and we're buying more so each employee can have one on their desk. We're in the process of going paperless using this device as the workhorse. Don't try to use it as a photo scanner.

Cons: When I purchased it in 2008 the software required an additional download and install of an updated version to make it work on Vista. There was no cost for this upgrade and it may not still be an issue, but it did take a little extra effort and time.
