Very nice and easy to use.

  • Excerpt: I bought the scanner based on the other reviews of it. The nice think in them was some very good information about how to use it. The only thing I had to go back and look in the Q & A was how to charge the battery as there is no charger for it. It's very simple, Plug the unit into your computer with the USB cable and it charges it. One thing I found was that if you have negative's that have any curl to them the image will not be sharp, and it's not the units fault.
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Clear Image, Easy Photo Upload, Easy To Use, Quality Construction

Great little scanner

  • Excerpt: I bought this based on the other 12 reviews, both the pros and the cons. I'm very happy with it, the only thing that would have been helpful would have been that the way to recharge the battery is that you have to plug it into your computer via the inclosed USB cable. I had to go back to the product page and read the FAQ to find that out. Other than that it's a great scanner.

  • Summary: This scanner is user friendly, has the tools needed for scanning films and slides, it is well built and looks cute. The screen is very helpful and the controls are very simple to understand. There is no need to install the software on your computer since Microsoft Picture Manager will do the job. Perhaps, if you want more editing tools, the provided software may help (I haven't tried yet). The quality of the B/W slides and films is excellent.

Love the Veho, Instructions suck

  • Excerpt: Veho is great and simple to use, clarity is great too. The quick start instructions have too little and too much. Most important things are left out. Charge battery before use, scandisk install just push it all the way in, until it's flush with the back. The buttons are kind of guess work but trial and error works fairly quickly. Digital conversion is fast.
  • Pros: Clear Image, Digital Conversion Fast, Easy Photo Upload, Easy To Use
  • Cons: Setup Instructions

  • Summary: I was looking at much more expensive units but thought I would give the one a try after reading other reviews. I have scanned over 900 negatives since receiving it a few weeks ago. It does everything I need it to do. I have scanned 110 negatives, 126 negative, slides, and 35mm film. Even was able to do a couple of the old Brownie type camera negatives with a few adjustments.

  • Summary: The scanner comes in a round cardboard container that appears to be sturdy enough to keep as it's permanent storage device. Scans of mounted slides come out very good, and are easy to make. One issue was a slight viewer streaking in the red color zones of certain slides, however, the streaking did not appear on the finished digital file. Did not use the scanner in it's various other modes.

Just perfect!

  • Excerpt: I bought this to digitalize my 3100 slides. It is fast, easy to use. Image quality is wonderful, if it isn't, it is the quality of the original slide or the condition of the orginal slide. We all have to remember, the slides from years past were not HD! It is small, portable, running on its battery, scanning can be done away from the computer. It is easy to connect via USB or remove SD card and place in computer. Fantastic product for the price.
